Pregnancy Odds: Fertility Success Rates in Your 30s and 40s
A healthy 30-year-old has only about a 20% chance each month to get pregnant naturally; by age 40, that drops to about 5%, according
to the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. Almost a third of women ages 40 to 44 are
infertile, compared with 22%
of women ages 35 to 39 and 9% of women 25 to 29.
“By the time a woman reaches 43 or 44, she really only has a 1% chance per month of conceiving naturally on her own,” says Richard Paulson,
MD, a leading pregnancy researcher. “After that, she needs to use donor eggs.”

After 2 ½ years of trying to conceive we are finally 14 weeks pregnant! Over the years we have tried everything
and I mean everything! Basal thermometers, ovulation kits, fertility medications, and standing on my head just to
mention a few. Both John and I were tested for infertility and everything came back perfectly normal. Our age was
not a factor since we are both only in our mid twenties. We were told to go on vacation to relax... so we went on
4 big trips. The doctor even put me on anti-anxiety medications to help me relax. We looked into adoption and
different fertility options all which were so very expensive. My good friend suggested that I buy the OV-Watch
because it worked for her after just one month. So we decided to try it for four months and then explore our options.
Because of all the disappointing years that we went through I went ahead and purchased the kit and three additional
refills (thinking I would need them all). During the first month of using the watch I found out that I was pregnant!
The crazy thing is my husband was only in town for fertile days one and two! This watch is a miracle worker! It is
accurate and I swear by it! I have told everyone about it even my OB. I can guarantee that when we are ready for baby
#2 we will definitely be using the watch again! Thanks OV Watch!

I happened to be channel surfing one day this past spring and something caught my attention...it was the Dr's show and
they were discussing the OV Watch. I was so intrigued by it and went online and researched it more. Two weeks passed and
I decided to purchase it. Having PCOS I read the disclaimer stating that it may not work due to this health condition I
have, but decided that I wanted to give it a try anyways. I started my cycle a couple months after I had purchased it and
with 50mg (cd 5-9) of Clomid and 500mg of Metformin (from my OBGYN) I used the watch and it gave me a ovulation day reading
on day 19 of my cycle. Just took a pg test yesterday and to my surprise I am pregnant after trying for over 2 years...5
weeks already!!! Thank you OV Watch! Best purchase I have ever made =)
